Blogger Camera 2016 Olympus E-PL8 Unboxing
I cannot express how relieved I am to finally have this beautiful camera in my hands after what can only be described as the most anxiety-ridden delivery & horrendous customer service experience of my life.

Negatives aside (I think there's a photography pun in there somewhere?) anyone who has been following my blog may have noticed that (up until recently, oops) I've been posting pretty much every single day throughout October, something I have thoroughly enjoyed doing as a creative outlet, and has inspired me to continue working hard on producing engaging content - I definitely feel this time round has been a lot more successful than the previous times I have dabbled in blogging.

So, to celebrate my newfound 'I can do this' attitude, I decided to invest in a new, and much more capable camera, something compact and lightweight but also versatile enough to cover all bases, from quick Instagram snaps, to high-quality YouTube videos. After hours of research and endless trawling on the internet I discovered that the new Olympus E-PL8 was soon to be released, and I fell instantly in love.

Why I Stopped Wearing A Bra

Thursday, 13 October 2016

I have been debating whether or not to write this post for a little while now, primarily because I wasn't sure if it was a subject that anyone could relate to or would even be interested in. However, after doing a little bit of research on the 'ole internet, I discovered that not only is this a topic very much in discussion, it's also very relevant because today is *drum roll* NATIONAL NO BRA DAY!

This makes me so happy, not only because it's a fantastic way of raising awareness for breast cancer, a subject very close to my heart, but it's also a wonderful way of giving women the opportunity to celebrate what mother nature gave 'em!

Am I Wasting My Life?

Wednesday, 5 October 2016

I'm going to be twenty-three in March. TWO-THREE.

I know in the grand scheme of my existence that isn't a colossal number and I'm certain those senior to me will scoff in my face, as they often do when I let out hopeless sighs, exclaiming: 'I'm getting old!' Which is why I feel inclined to explain that it's not necessarily that I am paranoid about my creeping age, I don't wake up each morning panic-stricken that I may discover a new wrinkle or that it may take me a split second longer to clamber out of bed. Nope, twenty-three isn't old, I do know that. The topic I am delving into is beyond physical deterioration.

The thing is, I have had a recent realisation that I definitely do not have twenty-three years worth of stories to tell. These years have dissipated with the blink of an eye, and now I'm anxiously questioning 'where has the time gone, and what have I even got to show for it?' And that is monumentally more terrifying than any grey hair.

Life after Nexplanon

Wednesday, 21 September 2016

I suppose this is one of those topics you just sort of have to dive straight into, but before I do I just want to clarify that this is a personal story based totally on my own experience, don't take my words as gospel, every woman is different and every person reacts differently to different chemicals in their body. What hasn't worked for me, may work perfectly for you, and that's great!

Here goes nothing...

I first had the contraceptive implant inserted when I was sixteen years old, at this point it was the Implanon brand and in hindsight, especially as a now twenty-two-year-old with younger step-sisters, I can appreciate how young that is to make a critical decision about your body, more so in my case where it was a decision based on not very much information or research.
